Contents: drafts of his Foxe's book of martyrs and the Elect Nation, 1963, with his working notes; drafts of several lectures delivered, ca.1950-ca.1960; a volume of notes entitled "Godly lives;" notes on sermons, pamphlets and their authors published before 1640-1689; notes on writers of the 16th and 17th centuries arranged alphabetically, including transcripts of and extracts from their works; notes on Milton and 2 files entitled "Milton lectures"; 5 card file drawers - authors before 1640, publications, 1547-1649, arranged chronologically, and authors of the 16th and 17th centuries. Also, photostats of some of the tracts to be found in his Tracts on liberty in the Puritan Revolution, 1638-1647, 1934.
