John Williams papers [manuscript] 1705-1728.

Collection of letters and sermons relating to Rev. John Williams of Deerfield, Mass. Williams was a captive of the Deerfield raid of 1704 and the author of the Redeemed captive returning to Zion. Includes several letters written to his son Stephen Williams detailing family and local news, manuscript sermons, and a contemporary copy of a letter from Cotton Mather to Williams during his captivity.
