The collection was a donation from the National Film and Sound Archive, who acquired it in 1986 from St. Patricks College, Goulburn. Albert's had donated the collection to the College for fund raising. It consists of music sent to Albert's by music publishers for either re-publishing or for selecting for distribution by Albert's.
