Canadian flag proclamation and grant of arms [manuscript]. 1957-1965.

1. Canadian flag proclamation signed, by Her Majesty's command, by Lester B. Pearson, the Prime Minister of Canada on 28th January, 1965 proclaiming the existence of the new national flag of Canada. The proclamation is in two sizes: 31 cm. x 24 cm. and 60 cm. x 49 cm. 2. Heraldry Society grant of Arms obtained on the 10th August 1957.

Lester B. "Mike" Pearson was a Canadian statesman and politician, perhaps best known as Canada's fourteenth Prime Minister. Born in Ontario, he was educated at the University of Toronto, where he excelled at sports.
