Miriam Hyde is a composer, musician and poet. In 1931 she won the Elder Scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music, London. During this time she won three composition prizes, performed two of her concertos with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra and made several broadcasts with the BBC. Larry Sitsky was born in Tientsin, China in 1934, and came to Australia in 1951. He studied at the N.S.W.
