Prologue and programme of toasts [manuscript]. [1796]-1879.

Copy of prologue reputedly spoken by George Barrington at the opening of the Theatre at Sydney in 1796. The prologue was actually written by Henry Carter; Programme of Toasts at luncheon given at the Town Hall on the 21st August 1879 by the Mayor of Sydney (C.J. Roberts) in compliment to his Excellency the Right Honorable Lord Augustus Loftus, Governor in chief of New South Wales.
