The play "Rachel Henning" was first presented by the Hunter's Hill Dramatic Club in November 1975. Henning left England in 1854 aged 28, and made her home in Australia and Hunteer's Hill. Her letters written to England, published in 1951 (with illustrations by Norman Lindsay) "have become a classic of English literature" Sydney Morning Herald, 26 Nov. 1975.
