Biography [manuscript]. [1856?]

Brief description of the life of Frederick William Beechey, commissioned in the Royal Navy in 1815. He saw service in the North American station, on several Arctic expeditions and in the Pacific and Polar areas. He published many accounts of his various surveys and expeditions. After retirement, he was elected President of the Royal Geographical Society in 1855.
