Comprises the following groups of papers: 1. Manuscripts (chapters 2-5, 8-10 and introduction) of The story of Australian art, Sydney: Angus and Robertson, 1934. 2. Manuscripts and typescripts of the Àdventure among the arts : Australia and abroad'. 3. B̀lack and white', (1 vol.), a chronological survey of Australian art, 1836-1927, [c.1927]. The artists mentioned in the manuscript include Henry Fullwood, Sydney Ure Smith, Arthur Collingridge, Percy F.S. Spence, B.E. Minns, Livingston Hopkins, George Rossi Ashton, Norman Lindsay, David Low, D.H. Souter and Eirene Mort. 4. T̀he Spoken word : the intricacies of English pronunciation and the way out', (1 vol.), 1903, 1962-3. Contains typescripts written by Moore in England after talks with George Bernard Shaw, early photographs of William Moore, and cuttings. 5. Scrapbook (1 vol.) entitled Ẁilliam Moore : a miscellany letters and manuscripts', 1895-1937, containing early photographs of Moore, manuscripts, typescripts, correspondence and cuttings. Correspondents include Bernard Cronin, Flora Eldershaw, W. Cousins, Betty Rolland, W.T. Kirwan, Tom Inglis Moore, Nettie Palmer and Thomas Lothian. 6. Correspondence, 1912-26. Correspondents include Charles Nuttall and Louis Esson. 7. Eleven miscellaneous manuscripts and two typescripts written by Moore [n.d.].
