The papers relate to a gold mine at Colo Creek, southwest of Trunkey Creek in New South Wales, near the Abercrombie and Mulgunnia gold fields. The consulting geologist for the company was Joseph Campbell. Included are: 'Memorandum and articles of association of the Colo Creek Gold Mining Co. Limited' (Sydney, Robert Bone Printer, 1895); 'Copy of Mr Campbell's report on leases of the Colo Creek Gold Mining Co. and balance sheet of the Company as on the date of incorporation' (Calcutta, Calcutta Central Press, 1895); form letters, dated 21 May 1895, from the Directors of the company per Emile Edouard Moreau of Calcutta, to Miss Alice Bird, Miss Laura Bird and Mrs Brabam.
