Papers [manuscript]. 1933-1975.

Manuscripts, typescripts, correspondence, press cuttings and photographs. The manuscripts include an unpublished novel 'The mountain between', a short story 'Black velvet', an account of Concord in 1900, a lecture on the history of the English language, and a personal history of shorthand writing in Western Australia and New South Wales. There is also a short manuscript biography of Catherine Lindsay. The correspondence (1936-1939) mostly relates to Lindsay's research on the life of Edward Ashworth (b. 1818), a soldier who came to Australia with the 90th Regiment in 1840 and who later settled in Western Australia. There is a typescript copy of Ashworth's autobiography, covering the years 1818-1874.
