A.L.S. 23 October 1848, from Port Lincoln, South Australia, to an unnamed correspondent. It concerns Sturt's expedition to Central Australia, his recovery from scurvy, his discovery of a lodge of copper at Port Lincoln, the shares of the Burra Burra copper mines and his desire to form a Port Lincoln company. He asks for a loan to form the company. Copied under the A.J.C.P. with a second copy in the Public Library of South Australia.
