Logbooks [manuscript]. 1852-1864.

Logs cover several voyages and ships, including HMS Victory, Leander, Alacrity, Raleigh, Bittern, Highflyer, Euryalis, Immortalite, Diadem and Rapid, kept by Arthur Edward Dupuis, who served as midshipman and junior officer in the Royal Navy, later rising to the rank of Rear Admiral. Places visited included China, Crimea, USA and West Africa. Included in the papers are photographs of Dupuis and his tombstone, and manuscript biographical details.
