1. The scrap album includes photographs, portraits, newspaper cuttings, letters, ephemera, invitations and programs concerning the vice regal duties of Lord Northcote, the Governor General of Australia. Programs include the opening ceremony to the "First Australian exhibition of women's work", 1907 organised by Alice, Lady Northcote. 2. Appoximately 200 photographs on various subjects concerning vice regal duties and activities. Topics include: a journey to North Australia and the outback including Port Darwin, Daly River, Adelaide River, Thursday Island; outback landscapes, ant hills (termite mounds), camp sites, portraits, residences and Aborigines; vice regal occasions in Melbourne, Sydney, Eden-Monaro and Port Hacking; studio portraits of Lord Northcote, Alice S. Northcote, Captain Byng Stephens, and Sir Wilmot Fawkes; landscapes, vice regal residences, functions and scenes from the 1906 Melbourne Cup.
