The papers consist of two collections. 1. The papers relating chiefly to the case of McEvoy vs. Tyson a dispute concerning the boundaries of their respective holdings, (Moon Moon Curra and Tyson's Darling District and Juanbong runs) at the junction ofthe Darling and Murrumbidgee Rivers. R.B. Gow, the umpire in the dispute, awarded costs equally in 1864 and laid down the boundary. Includes also a group of personal papers of R.B. Gow, and maps, including one signed Ẁ.J. Wills'. 2. Documents relating to claims to inheritance and to the administration of Tyson's estate, 1898-1907. Includes a diary of Tyson 1863-1864 and notes on the Tyson family, 1961.
