Two scrapbooks of newspaper cuttings, articles and photographs relating to Loir's two visits to Australia, the first from March 1888 to April 1889 with Drs Germont and Hinds, the second from June 1890 to early 1893. Loir came to Australia as the representative of Louis Pasteur's interest in the prize of £20,000 offered for a solution to the rabbit plague.
