Autobiography [manuscript]. [19--].

During the first world war, Amy Hungerford went with her mother and grandmother to Egypt to be near members of their family serving in the first A.I.F. The daughter and the mother later went on to England when their kinsmen had gone to France, and worked in hospitals and on behalf of war charities. On a later post-war visit to England the author was presented at Court. There are glimpses of fashionable social life in Sydney and Hobart in the early years of this century, and brief personal recollections of celebrated people such as Sir T.W. Edgeworth David and Sir Douglas Mawson.
