Letters [manuscript]. 1840-1847.

Letterbook consisting of copies of letters written by Ian MacDougall to his son, William, who had returned to London to study medicine. There are also copies of letters written by William's brother, Archibald, who was the government printer at Adelaide, and his sister, Jessie McArthur. They chiefly discuss financial transactions relating to William's expenses, farming conditions and family news, with some comments on the economic affairs and government of the Colony.
