Draft chapters and printer's ms. copy of a book published in 1941 under the title Nation building in Australia: the life and work of Sir Littleton Ernest Groom. The book was commissioned by Lady Jessie Groom and contains sections written by various writers including L. F. Fitzhardinge, Rev. G. H. Cranswick and Ransome T. Wyatt as well as a foreword by Robert Menzies and a preface by Lady Groom.

Sir Littleton Ernest Groom was the Federal Member for Darling Downs and member of the first Federal Session. Benjamin Glennie (1812-1900) came to Brisbane as a Church of England clergyman in 1848 and worked for many years on the Darling Downs.
