Papers [manuscript]. [196-?].

The typescript is a defence by Campbell of his action in refusing to contribute to the liquidation of Du Menier Laboratories in 1937, a refusal which cost him two court actions ending in his vindication. Campbell maintains that certain legal members of the Sydney 'Establishment' during the cases, were motivated by feeling of animosity towards him because of his activities in the New Guard several years earlier. The typescript consists of 143 pages of a projected book. It comprises Chapter 6 - The case of Mr "X" (104 p.); an epilogue to chapter 6 (2 p.); a report re Mr Eric Campbell by Mr Justice Long Innes (27 p.); and a comment on the report by Campbell (10 p.).
