From the papers of Dr. C.A.E. Fenner, educator, geographer and author, comprising diaries relating to trips to Europe and North America in 1931-1932 and 1937 (photocopy of original typescripts and arranged by his son Professor Frank Fenner, Jan. 2003). The 1931 trip was undertaken when he was chosen as one of four Australian delegates representing ANZAAS for the centenary meeting of the British Association for the Advancement of Science. The 1937 trip to North America and Europe was funded by a grant from the Carnegie Foundation and focussed on educational matters.
