Talbott (Harvard, M.D. 1929) was editor of the Journal of the American Medical Association and directed the Association's Division of Scientific Publications from 1959 to 1969. He was associated with the Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital from 1929 to 1946 when he became physician-in-chief of the Buffalo General Hospital and chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Buffalo.
