Volumes of historical writings by historian Thomas Pemberton on such topics as the American Revolution, Boston colonial history, U.S. political parties, U.S. Congressional transactions (1794-1795), American biographies, members of British Parliament during the American Revolution, and the history of France. Also included are a six-volume chronology of Massachusetts history (1700-1800), Pemberton's diaries in interleaved almanacs (1800-1805), a volume of poetry, and several volumes of memoranda and extracts on various topics.
