Scrapbook relating to Dame Nellie Melba, kept by her personal assistant. Comprises newspaper cuttings, photographs and performance programmes. Includes a series of articles "Melba's life story" published in the Herald newspaper (Melbourne), September 1925. Photographs include portraits of Melba, views of Coombe Cottage (her home near Lilydale, Vic.) and scenes of her arrival at Perth on the R.M.S. "Orsova" in 1914.
