The doings of a digger [manuscript]. ca. 1918-ca. 1919.

The doings of a digger was written up after the war and based on Les Finn's diary. Exact date unknown but seems to have been not long after W.W.I. Describes experiences on the voyage from Sydney on the troopship "Aeneas", in Egypt, France and England. Also a facsimile letter sent to ex servicemen from King George V , 1918.

Leslie J. Finn (no. 4188) enlisted on 30 July 1915, served as a sapper with the 4th Field Company Engineers, and was repatriated to Australia on 10 April 1918. Born in 1896, he came from Hobart, Tas.
