Comprises typescript copy of "Innamincka" (later published by Hodder and Stoughton, Melbourne, 1960), autobiography of Elizabeth Burchill, relating her experiences as a nurse for the Australian Inland Mission at Innamincka. Also, original typescript copy of "Thursday Island nurse : Wongai" (later published by Rigby, Adelaide, 1972), autobiography of Elizabeth Burchill relating her experiences as a nurse on Thursday Island, and the lifestyle of Thursday Islanders.
