Primarily papers relating to accounts between the U.S. and various military paymasters, 1812-15, mostly signed by Lieut. David Clendenin, paymaster, Poland, Ohio. Includes correspondence, regimental orders, muster, regiment, and pay rolls, newspaper clippings, and lists of soldiers in various companies (including rolls of 18 companies stationed in Mass. and a roll of Vermont militiamen).
