Correspondence and war paraphernalia. ca. 1915-[194-]

Comprises four World War One letters from George Naylor to his sister Till and niece Floris. Two are undated, but ca. 1915 and written from Seymour and Broadmeadows, one was written in Cairo 19 December 1915, and another in France 14 January 1917. Also, letter from friend W.H. Wallace to George Naylor's father, 7 April 1917, after George was killed in action. Also, newspaper cuttings, photograph, postcards, souvenir items and service medals. Postcards from George Naylor are dated 6 July 1916-10 November 1916. Postcard to Sister (Alice) Kitchen from M. Quirk is dated 22 December 1918. Souvenir items include embroidered and painted banners and a handkerchief printed with recruiting propaganda. Also, World War Two certificate of appreciation for war service presented to Private Vincent James Armstrong by the Shire of Corio, and photograph and newspaper cutting.
