[Family history of the Trounsons] [manuscript]. 1999.

The collection comprises three secondary sources examining the Trounson family history: 1. 'The Trounsons' by Alfred Donald Trounson (Canberra, Dec. 1999). 2. 'In quest of the first Trounsons' by A. D. Trounson (Canberra, Oct. 1999). 3. 'Trounson of Cornwall : worldwide' [compiled by Christopher Trounson]; (Helston, Cornwall, 1999). These volumes list marriages, births and deaths of the Trounson family, with numerous illustrations of different branches of the family tree. Christopher Trounson's work contains indexes of individuals and grid references to a map of ecclesiastical parishes in Cornwell. Alfred Donald Trounson was First Secretary of the British High Commission, Canberra, a diplomatic posting he began in 1959. With his wife Molly Trounson, Donald has studied, photographed and authored books on Australian birds. He has also self-published two books on the Trounson family history. Christopher Trounson of Cornwell is a distant cousin of Donald Trounson's, and similarly interested in their family history.
