Letters to Mrs Aileen Struth from Mary James, 17 April, 1953 - 9 February, 1954 describing a trip to Europe and including the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Also letters to Mrs Aileen and Mr Robert Struth from friends in Britain, 1952 and 1954; a letter from Beryl Whittan, former Matron of the Darwin Hospital describing her experiences during Cyclone Tracey in 1975; a letter from the Collins family of Dunkeld describing the 1939 bushfires in the area; a notebook showing living expenses 1939-1940; a menu for the Colac Turf Club Hunt Ball, 1897. Also included a scrapbook of newsclippings 1890s-1925 relating to conductor/composer Claude McIntosh, the Brooklyn Entertainers, Lodge news as well as certificates of Life membership for Mr McIntosh from various institutions, including the Melbourne hospital (Queen Victoria hospital) and Alfred Hospital.
