Letters from Ernest Moll and family to Horace Stelling and family (1937-1984). The Stellings were friends of the Moll's and the letters include those written at the time of Nieva Moll's death. There are also typed Christmas letters, with handwritten notes added, reporting on the year's activities. The single 1985 letter is incomplete. Two of the letters are photocopies ; Letters relating to an exchange between Professors Hyde, Sydney Teachers College and Moll, University of Oregon, giving some details of Moll's achievements (1938-1939) ; Letters by Sydney Jephcott and George Mackaness (1942-1944) ; Transcript: David Rowbotham's "Today's books" broadcast on 2BL on 15/9/57, containing a section on Moll's "Poems 1940 to 1950" (2 copies) ; Newspaper clipping "Commemorative verses, Donald M. Erb" by Ernest G. Moll (no date) ; 2 newspaper clippings about Ernest Moll (no dates).

Poet and farmer, Jephcott was self-educated and, from from the age of 12, lived alone in the mountains in a tent. After meeting Henry Kendall in the late 1870s, he began writing poetry. A friend of Francis Adams, who saw Jephcott's The secrets of the south: Australian poems (London, 1892) through the press in London. Jephcott completed an unpublished, critical selection of Adam's poems. Jephcott remained a cattle farmer and served as a shire councillor on the Towong and Tumbarumba Shire Councils...
