Photocopy of a scrapbook (with some loose original documents) containing notes, itineraries, clippings, and replies to Jacobs's letters requesting information on Abraham Lincoln's visits to New England by rail in 1848 and 1860. Also included is Jacobs's typewritten paper, the results of his research on Lincoln's visits via what are now the New Haven and the Boston and Albany Railroads. Jacobs was the Secretary of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society.
