Hertha Louise, daughter of Ludwig StoĢˆlzle of Austria, married Sir Arthur Thomas Erroll Hay, 10th Baronet of Park in 1935. They were divorced in 1942. They had one son, John Erroll Audley Hay. Born Lucerne, Switzerland 1893. Novelist. Arrived in Australia when he was six months old with parents. Originally wrote under pseudonyms Martin Miles and also Martin a'Beckett. Later lived in Italy 1958. Died 3 June 1972. Best known works: The Montforts; Lucinda Brayford; The Cardboard Crown; A Difficult Young Man; Outbreak of Love; When Blackbirds Sing.
