Logbook kept aboard the Abigail, on a voyage from Sag Harbor to Brazille Bank off the coast of Patagonia, 5 Aug. 1818-8 July 1819, commanded by Jeremiah Post, describing daily weather and sea conditions. Also includes a list of "stores for the voyage". Describes 30 Nov. 1818 at False Bank, 12 Dec. 1818 at Main Bank, 14 Jan. 1819 Whaling on the False Bank, 25 Jan. 1819 at Brazille Bank, 10 May 1819 Brazil Bank to Sag Harbor, and 8 July 1819 Gardiners Bay.
