Patrick McMahon Glynn was born in Ireland in 1855, and educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He arrived in Australia in 1880. From 1887-1889 he was the M.P. for Light; in 1895 and again in 1897 he was elected M.P. for North Adelaide. In 1899 he became Attorney-General. He was elected for South Australia to the first House of Representatives in 1901, and in 1903 for the district of Angas, which he represented until the general elections in 1919. Patrick MacMahon was born in Ireland in 1855, qualified as a solicitor, was called to the bar in April 1879. He emigrated to Australia, arriving in Melbourne in October 1880. He became editor of the Kapunda Herald in 1883, became interested in politics and was elected MP for West Adelaide in the South Australian parliament 1887.
