Bone china teapot was made by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles in East Liverpool, Ohio, in Columbiana County. Produced in approximately 1892, this decorative teapot and lid are examples of the pottery's Lotus Ware line and the Valenciennes style. They are white and decorated with a fishnet relief design. The pot has a bamboo handle and the domed lid has a mushroom-shaped finial. Marked on the bottom of the teapot is "KTK China."

Knowles, Taylor & Knowles was founded by Isaac Knowles and Isaac Harvey in 1854 in East Liverpool, Ohio. The partners produced Rockingham and yellow queensware.
