Scrapbook presumed to be compiled by Sir John Robertson's daughter Amy Brisbane (wife of Harry Gilliat) consisting mainly of newspaper cuttings at the time of Sir John's retirement (18 June 1886) and death (6 May 1891). Including 5 letters to Harry Gilliat (who was in 1890 appointed Officer in Charge, Water Conservation and Irrigation Branch, Dept. of Mines, Sydney); one memo from Sir Alfred Stephen to Sir John Robertson; one letter from J.E. Tenison-Woods, concerning fossils, to H.A. Gilliat, dated 1882. Also genealogical note on the Robertson family, and invitations to the marriage of Sarah Duncan Gilliat with George Prentice Taylor, Vice Consul of the U.S.A. at Munich in 1887.
