This is the index to vol. 1-10 of "Naturalization records, 1835-1906" (Iowa Series 31). Although naturalization records normally comprise declarations of intention, petitions, ancillary papers or statements, and certificates of naturalization, at that time in Iowa County, Wis. Territory, the only naturalization records filed are declarations of intention. They were filed with the District (later the Circuit) Court of Iowa County, and show name, nationality and age of alien, date of declaration, and volume and page number.
