Correspondence, speeches, newspaper clippings, women's political publications, photos, and magazine reprints pertaining to the status of women, equal rights events, and Vackar's political activities are included. Also, publications, newslettters, fact sheets, and poster from the White House office of Sarah Weddington, chairwoman of the Interdepartmental Task Force on Women, dealing with the accomplishments of the Carter administration in the Women's Equal Rights Movement.
