George Hewit Lee photograph album [graphic], 1898-1910.

Album of photographs taken and collected by Rev. George Hewit Lee, documenting the places in which he and his family lived from 1898-1910 while Lee worked as a minister at various Congregational and Presbyterian churches in the Pacific Northwest and Ohio. The photos depict views of the Lee family's homes and life in Salem and Portland, Or., Cinicinnati and Batavia, Ohio, and Seattle and Ballard, Wash. and include images of Lee, his wife Nettie Anne Cooke Lee (b. 1857), and his children, including Louisa Lee (b. 1886), Charles Marston Lee (b. 1888), Walter Cooke Lee (1892-1918), and Florence Lee Lienard. Other subjects of note include views of the Lewis & Clark Centennial Exposition in Portland, Or. in 1905; views of Joseph, Or. and Olympia, Wash.; and photographs of the family's travels to and from each location that they moved to. Other photographers besides Hewit include Lillian McCully; Lee's brother, Rev. Lewis Earle Lee (1870-1937); Emily McConnell; and E. H. Camp.
