Weiming Lu papers 1963-2007.

Personal papers of a Chinese-American urban planner who for many years served as executive director of the Lowertown Redevelopment Corporation in St. Paul, Minnesota. The collection includes information on Corporation projects, as well as on a variety of Chinese-American and Asian-American organizations and projects in the United States. The collection includes speeches and articles; subject files; some personal correspondence; a few CD-ROMs; and a videotape. The speeches and articles relate to many of the projects and organizations with which Lu was involved, especially the Lowertown Redevelopment Corporation. There is much information about local and nationally-focused Chinese-American organizations in which Lu took an interest, including the Committee of 100, the Organization of Chinese Americans, the National Committee on United States-China Relations, and the China AIDS Fund.
