Harriet Stewart Judd autobiography : ms.S, [ca. 1822-70].

Reminiscences of childhood in western New York, church membership and work, seminary schooling, employment as governess and teacher, marriage and residence in Flushing, New York. Comments on the Civil War and her husband's work with the U.S. Sanitary Commission and several trips, 1865-70, to the South, to Europe (including trip to Moscow) in 1867, and to the West (as far as Laramie, Wyoming) in 1869.
