The Edna M. Harvey papers, 1943.

Contains: letters from Sam Kweskin to Edna Harvey (1962); scrapbook, which contains letters and notes written by servicemen awaiting overseas assignments to points unknown, expressing their feelings concering the war, separation from family and loved ones, fear of unknown destinations and possible death. These notes were written while the servicemen visited the Special Services area, under the direction of Mrs. Harvey, while listening to music furnished by Mrs. Harvey for their enjoyment.
