The bulk of this collection consists of blueprints and diazotypes of reference plans for VC2-S-AP3 cargo ships, known as Victory Ships; other record types included in collection: charts, tables, diagrams, booklets of general plans, news clippings, notes, correcpondence, periodicals, pamphlets and assembly instructions; most of the ships were built for the United States Maritime Commission by the California Shipbuilding Corporation; George G. Sharp was the design agent.
