The Office of Public Affairs records consist of files of biographical information on faculty and staff of Louisiana State University and the LSU System (1930s-1980s); scrapbooks of clippings (1930-1968); files of clippings (1945-1947, 1980-1984); four television scripts (1956-1962); press releases (1995-2006); a University information center register (1945-1959); files on allegations of violations of NCAA rules by coaches, players, and recruits of the football and basketball teams (1986); 12 aerial photographs of the campus; imprints for the rededication of the French House (1981); printed materials for the "LSU Salutes" program for Louisiana veterans (1995-96); and a 45 rpm phonograph record of songs and sound recordings of the University (1964).
