A handwritten account of a trip from Watab to St. Paul, Minnesota made with ox teams to haul a boiler for a mill under construction in Watab. Mrs. Gilman wrote this account in the words of her father Lewis Clark, for her son Charles Lewis Gilman. Harriet Gilman was the wife of Samuel Charles Gilman (1859-1896).

Lewis (also spelled Louis) Enoch Clark, the donor of this genealogy, was born on January 31, 1903, in Springville, Utah County, Utah. His parents were James Henry Clark and Mary Alepha Barnett. He married Hazel Murphy on December 27, 1926, in Richfield, Utah. Hazel passed away in childbirth, along with her infant, Louis, on June 12, 1927, in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada.
