Includes business correspondence and receipts, 1788-1867; a manuscript by Armistead Borland about his father Thomas R. Borland (who was involved with William Mahone and the Readjuster Party) which contains a genealogy of the Borland and Godwin families; and family photographs. Includes a letter, 1828 April 18, from Euclid Borland to George Godwin giving impressions of life at College of William and Mary.
