Diplomatic diary kept while Ambassador to Turkey, 1 Aug. 1927 to 12 Mar. 1932, describing his activities and travels around the country; excerpt of diary kept while Ambassador to Japan, Dec. 1933, and while on leave from Japan, July-Dec. 1935, travelling around East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe. The diaries also recount the activities of Grew's wife, Alice de Vermandois Perry, and give some news of other family members as well. Also, notes on the Lausanne Conference, 1922-23. Carbon copy typescript with some photographs as illustrations.
