Korean War psychological warfare propaganda leaflets collection, 1951-1956.

Consists primarily of 633 original U.S. Army propaganda leaflets issued during the Korean War and intended for North Korean and Chinese soldiers. Each leaflet is accompanied by a documentation sheet in English which includes a translation of the text. The leaflets were produced by the Eighth United States Army Korea (EUSAK), Psychological Warfare Section; and the Far East Command's Military Intelligence Section, Psychological Warfare Branch, and its 1st Radio Broadcasting and Leaflet Group. There are also 24 leaflets (some photocopies) issued by communist forces intended for United Nations soldiers. The extension course material consists of workbooks issued by the Army Extension and the Psychological Warfare School at Fort Bragg, N.C. and includes a copy of: The Kazakhs: a background study for psychological warfare, by Lawrence Krader and Ivor Wayne. Also included are a number of publications related to psychological warfare including a paper by Mr. Brauer on the psychological warfare operation in Korea.
