Diary, 1791.

Peirce kept a diary in 1791 which was interleaved in Osgood Carleton's Almanack. It contains weather records, references to plantings, harvesting, slaughtering of livestock, bailing hay, and account lists, including Peirce's taxes for 1790 and 1791. Other entries include the recording of the 1791 census for Worcester County and for the number of whites and blacks in the country, deaths among his friends in neighboring towns and his visits to those towns, and references to other occurrences in the County, including his keeping school in Boylston.
